Hello everyone! Last month the group had a great meeting. We tried to do a power point presentation on the effects of TBI and that did not turn out that great really it ended up that everyone was talking. Which was good though because that was what it is meant for if that is what that intent to do for the night and they need to get things out of their chest then that is what I would like them to do. There is a great activity that is coming to Phoenix on June 3, 2008 for TBI family members and survivors. This is called "Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors & Family Conference - Rays of Hope" for any information on this please visit this web site it will give you all of the information that you would like. There is also another TBI conference coming up I see on there web site that is in Tuscon but that is quite a far distance from Kingman. Those of you that live closer to Tuscon can attend that and it will have bunches of information for you. All of these conferences you must pre-register for though so that they can have the information booklets for you in advance. I have attended the one for Survivors and Family members and it is just fantastic. There is a wealth of information for you to take home which anyone that has a loved one with TBI or themselves have TBI's this is just fantastic.
